About us

We’re a small group of European artists and creatives brought together by a shared love of art, craft, and mystery.

That shared passion led us to create Mysterionomicon, an upcoming trading card project driven by curiosity, storytelling, and a very hands-on approach to making things. We all come from different creative backgrounds, but we’re connected by a fascination with the strange, the forgotten, and the stories that sit just beneath the surface of European history.

We especially enjoy working with cardmaking as a medium. Experimenting, testing ideas, and seeing what’s possible has led us to develop a range of playful, tactile, and visually striking techniques that will be used throughout the project, particularly in select insert and parallel cards. For us, how something is made matters just as much as how it looks in the end.

Our mission is simple: to entertain and educate through collectible art, and to create objects that feel meaningful to own, explore, and come back to over time.

Mysterionomicon

Mysterionomicon is a European trading card project created out of a deep appreciation for the stories that have shaped this continent.

The series draws inspiration from ancient myths and legends, folklore, historical events, urban tales, and modern pop culture. Together, these influences help explore what makes Europe’s past and present so compelling, especially the mysteries that continue to endure.

Within the world of the project, Mysterionomicon is the title of a fictional book devoted to real European myths and mysteries. Each trading card represents a single page from that book. The front features an original illustration inspired by the mystery itself, while the back offers a written account that provides historical context and insight.

Every subject is carefully researched, and every card features original artwork by European artists, each interpreting the topics in their own distinctive way. The range of styles is intentional and reflects the diversity of the subject matter itself and of Europe as a whole.

The first series, or Volume, will be a small, limited release featuring 27 base cards, along with a few insert sets and parallel variants in different rarities.

Each base card highlights a mystery from one EU country. The insert sets will expand the scope to include stories and mysteries from across Europe, also including countries outside the EU, such as the United Kingdom
